Still Life Paintings

My dear friend and mentor, the artist Lou Stovall, described a painting he had seen at an exhibition. He was so eloquent in his vivid and enthusiastic verbal portrayal of a strawberry that I found my mouth watering. Although I never saw the exhibition or the painting, it lives on in my mind. Lou planted the seed for this series  and sent me on my quest to create a feast for the eyes within a still life.

Each of there paintings are oil on wood.
